Josh Ethan Johnson AKA Robotboy66 AKA (half of) Estate AKA Transonic.


Josh Ethan Johnson lives in NYC and divides his time working on video, photo, music, blogs, designs, and traveling. He plays music under the band name Estate and generates photos, video and more under his own. 

Photography achievements include publishings in books and magazine, positive press, as well as NYC gallery shows. He's shot assignments for The New York Times and A24. He's been a member of the photo collective NYCSPC since 2016. 

In 2016, Josh launched FACES, a docuseries about the various people and places. The 20th episode is soon to be released and a feature documentary is under way. 

Josh has worked with companies like VICE, PBS, various NYC start-ups, Time Inc., Sony and many more to help produce video, design, music, and original content. 

Musically, Josh and his good friend Daniel Kramer created the Minneapolis electo group Estate in 2003. The group has had their successes with tours, remixes, many releases and still collaborate today. You can hear their music used in over 50+ prime time shows and feature movies including features on Silicon Valley, The Office, The New Girl, Gossip Girl, Ray Donavon, If I Stay, Community, and grips more.

Another passion of Josh's is food. Namely asian foods so he began The Pho-Tographer in 2016 to document and explore interesting asian cuisines around the world.
